Wed, 08/10/2011 - 12:01 - tina_lopezJust made the makeup bag in pink...very cute! I prefer loops for pulls as it is less time consuming. I really like the pattern style
pillow project
Mon, 07/25/2011 - 12:40 - veronicaNehzat, I really enjoyed learning and making the invisible zipper pillow. it's the first time I've made a pillow with a zipper. It looks like there will be many pillows in my future. I added a picture of it to my photo album. I'm hoping that you will be able to add more small projects, like a tote bag with a zipper. (then I can put the make-up bag in it!) Thanks for the patterns and instructions.

PANTS gone wrong
Mon, 06/13/2011 - 07:43 - kjwoodI have drawn up my block pattern for pants using your video lessons and now sewn the pants.
When I tried them on I had the following difficulties -
1. pants creep up the backside
2. pants are too snug in the upper hip/waist
3. pants bubble at the hips/thighs (too rounded for me)
bust dart
Mon, 06/06/2011 - 23:21 - lornelleI have recently signed up to this programme and i need to know if the side dart at the front bodice pattern
is essential. also if after folding the sidedart to draw the side seam it can remain folded when sewing a shirt or another garment.
PDF forms
Sat, 04/09/2011 - 11:24 - sew_4uI would like to see PDF files to download and print for taking measurements in the pattern drafting section of your videos. A way to store measurements here on the site for members to access once measurements have been taken would be an ideal option also
Thank you so much.
adding ease to block patterns and what amount should be added for each cup size at the side bust dart?
Sun, 03/06/2011 - 18:38 - madlilI have enjoyed the block pattern drafting videos (I joined just to use them! ) There seems to be no ease added to the measurements. I think even a sloper pattern needs a minimum amount of ease. How should his be added? Just add it to the circumference measurements before beginning the draft? Usually there is 4 inches at the bust, one inch at the waist and 2 inches at the hip. I would also really like a chart of the appropriate amount to use for the side bust dart such as A cup= x amount, B cup=x amount etc. Hope a sleeve draft is available soon!
Shortening sleeves on mens shirts
Sun, 02/27/2011 - 16:11 - poppopI would like to learn how shorten sleeves on mens shirts. I am not an experienced sewer and would like to know if this project would be too dificult for someone like me, without a lot of experience.
