Hi Nehzat, Thanks to you I am able to draft the skirt and bodice blocks, and I have been studying dart manipulation. I was wondering what you think is a better method, the slash method or the pivot method? I started with the slash method and was succesful and then I learned the pivot method. The pivot method I like because it doesnt seem as messy (cutting, taping). Some information that I get praises one over the other. Is one more accurate than the other? and why :)

Re: Slash or Pivot Method for Darts

Dear Veronica,

I use both the slash and the pivot method. However each method has its own benefits depending on the project.

Happy sewing,

Nehzat
