topstitching

In the construction of a tailored ladies shirt there is topstitching along the band at the edge where buttonholes go on one side and buttons on the other side. Should the topstitching be done before the double rolled hemming? Thank you.

Dear hilloah,

In the Shirt Sewing video lesson, the bottom hem of the shirt is sewn after topstitching the two sides of the front opening.
