I have got lots off cuts of material and making things for christmas.  The stumbling block on one project is making a tea cosy round base then pulled up each side and fastened at the top with elastic encased in material.

The problem is the pattern is taking to long can anyone help resolve as I only have limited time.

I am not good at  explanations but  hope someone will undertand  my difficulty and perhaps be able to let me have a pattern.  Thank you in anticipation.

Tea Cozy

Hi, There are a few sites out there that give ideas and instructions on how to make different style tea cosies. You can try http://www.rustybobbin.com/inklings/sew-teacozy.html, they have a step by step process on how to make a simple tea cozy.

Try this site as well, they have something closer to what you have explained, with a fastener near the top http://www.craftandfabriclinks.com/tea_cozy/tea_cozy_pattern.html
