I have just drafted the front and back pattern for the full skirt. I am adjusting the skirt length from the floor measurements and at the centre back.

I need to add a difference of 8.3 cm from the pattern waistline. I have a full bottom, but does this sound ok to you. I had to take my floor measurements myself as I had no one here to help.

c/front to floor 99cm - 64cm = 35

side 104cm - 35 =69 and

centre back 108cm - 35 = 73cm

Is it ok to add this amount to the back seam? or should  I adjust the pattern in some other way.

Thank you

Re: Floor Adjustments Full figure Skirt Pattern

Dear Shazdove,

To be able to guide you properly, I need to be sure of the measurements. It would be better if you could ask a friend to help measure you, as you guide them according to the instructions in the lesson. Check in the mirror to make sure you are being measured correctly. Then repost your measurements here again. Make sure to tie a ribbon around your waistline, before measuring.

Happy sewing,

Nehzat
