I have a nice wool jacket that is lined but I didn't like the buily shoulder pads so removed them. I have since lost them in a move.  I tried the jacket on to see if I could wear it without the pads but it doesn't look good. How do I go about making new shoulder pads since I have no measurements to go by?  BTW, the fabric for the jacket on the shoulder shoterning video looks lovely. Just my colour. The video is terrific. Many thanks, Kate

Re: Replacing Lost Shoulder Pads

 Dear Kate,

Thanks so much for the complements.

My suggestion would be to try shoulder pads of differing thicknesses. Pin them on the inside and do fittings to find the one that you like most. You can also make some adjustments to the shoulder pads by trimming them, or adding or removing some layers from them.

Hope this helps.

Happy sewing,

Nehzat
