Hey my name is Ugochukwu, I live in Austin, and i am a new member though not new entirely to the fashion industry. Well, well, I have a question. Actually, my main reason of joining the esewing workshop is to get acquainted with making of male stuff, like pants and coperate shirts, but I’ve learnt making a female pant and it's really wonderful.

My question is this. Can i really apply it to make a male pant as well? If no, i would like to be educated on how to make it and a male cooperate shirt as well.

And please, i hope I’m not asking too much. I would appreciate having a standard measurement chat, like for small, medium, large, X large, etc.

Thanks in my anticipation of a response.

Sincerely,

Ugochukwu

Re: Male Pants and Standard Measurement Charts

 Dear Ugochukwu,

The basics for making a men's and women's pants block pattern are the same, you can use these patterns as a foundation to make different styles of pants.

After releasing the sleeve pattern video lesson we will work on styling a block pattern for a shirt and then sew a shirts as well.

Here is a link to a standard measurement chart on Wikipedia.

Happy sewing,

Nehzat
