Hello

My name is Sue.  I have been sewing for years, but am not confident in producing well fitted garments.  I would like to know certain processes and get very frustrated that I get stuck on a particular part of a pattern and then am unable to finish the garment I have spent a lot of time and effort on.  I have subscribed to this site to learn more and would like to know how to line a bodice.  I have already done this, but the front section seems to just curl around itself and I am unable to work out what I have done wrong.  Could anyone advise please??

Re: How to Line a Bodice

Dear Sue,

I need to know what style of bodice you are sewing. Is it a dress, a jacket or a vest etc..?

If you could possibly take a picture of it from the right side, front and back and then turn it inside out and take a picture from the front and back again. You can email me the pictures, and I will let you know what you need to do to fix it. The email address is info@esewingworkshop.com

Regards,

Nehzat
