Hello from Boulder City NV. Thanks for droping in! I did sign up sometime back but never got around to post. Sew/So about me I'm an EN = Empty Nester with two special needs adult kids (resides elsewhere) SAHW with a big house to clean. Married to a wonderful man, 10th aniversary coming up in Aug.

In my spare time to love to spend time with my family, read mystry/thriller books, learning new recipes and a bit of gardening! Most of all, my favorite is anything related to sewing. I got started sewing by accident in Feburay 2010 while trying to find something in Arts and Crafts for my special needs daughter who resided with us for a short time.We were given lots of fabric along with a free sewing machine. Since then I fell head over heels in love with quilting, repurpose clothing and learning from patterns on how to sew garments!

I now have a sewing/quilting studio or room (whichever you want to call it) in my home. I have built up quite a collection of fabric's, notions, patterns and own 4 brand new machines. My very first was a Singer Featherweight 75, Janome MC6300 for quilts, a Brother Serger and lastly my Juki T98 (work horse) that is sitting on a grace frame and currently doing FM Hello Kitty full size quilt on it.

Love to take classes when I can. Right now I'm in two different ones, Mystry BOM club and Women's Prarie Sewing Circle. Trunks shows are just as fun!

Sew to love me...........Is to send me all of your fabric!!  Just kidding! But I am willing and eager to learn as much as I can!

Thanks for taking a couple minutes to read my post here and PLEASE Have A Marvelous Day!

Why........because I'm Sew Magic!

Hi

Hi Sew Magic! I'm Sew Karesa Lol!
I'm new to this website and I've been scrolling through all the 'new members' posts and I noticed no one replied to yours. As a newbie to this site, I'm still clicking around alot just to see what's what.
Take care and happy sewing :-)

By the way, I'm a beginner sewer. I've sewn a few things in my life... I even made my prom dress with assistance of my Home Economics teacher but all my sewing as been with a more experienced sewer with me, coaching me and guiding me along the way. I hope this website helps me to take that 'big girl' step and be able to sew on my own.
