Hi I saw the videos on how to use button hole feet on new machines that have button hole settings. I have a 1960's Bradford 651 machine. It is similar to a 1960's Kenmore. Is it possible to use a button hole foot on this machine? If so how could i use it if there is no button hole setting??

Re: Sewing Buttonholes with older machines

 Dear oymddesigns,

For machines that do not have a buttonhole stitch setting, you can still sew buttonholes by using the technique that I show in the Skirt Sewing Lesson, Chapter 45.

Happy sewing,

Nehzat
